Position interested in: Rigger
Work location: SA WA QLD NT

I am an Enthusiastic man looking to get back onto a large long term project preferably LNG.

I am currently employed as a rigger at Olympic Dam South Australia working on various BHP construction projects.

I have a lot of experience with LNG having worked on both Greenfields and Brownfields projects such as Gorgon and Santos GLNG.

Recently I saw the completion of the Gorgon Project at Barrow Island where I spent 18 months as a FIFO Mechanical TA. Prior to that I was working on the Santos GLNG project in Roma QLD where I saw the completion of stage 1 and spent 11 months on the Sino Iron Project Cape Preston WA where I was involved in building conveyers and installing piping spools for two Dewatering buildings.

During these three projects I have gained valuable experience and knowledge as to how to work on a large construction site and the rules and safety procedures for a live operational gas plant. I am accustomed to working long hours including shiftwork and overtime at short notice as well as living away in a remote location especially in the northwest of Australia and I actually enjoy the FIFO and camp lifestyle.

I have a very strong safety culture and mindset to look after myself as well as my workmates and enjoy taking on additional training and safety roles including IIF Action Team Member (Incident & Injury Free), Area fire Warden and HSE Rep.

I have many qualifications which I believe would be beneficial to a number of different roles and I am very flexible.

I have excellent organisational and communication skills, and am extremely self-motivated. I have the required knowledge, dedication, experience, professionalism and willingness to learn
to support my application and will provide service excellence.
