Fortescue Metals to challenge Pilbara native title ruling

Yesterday, the Federal Court ruled that exclusive native rights to the land on which Fortescue Metals Group’s Solomon Hub mine in WA’s Pilbara region. This is a decision which is expected to see an appeal by the group, who could be forced to pay millions of dollars in compensation.
