PIMS Group is a leading provider of Mining, Maintenance and Technical Services to the coal industry in Queensland and NSW.  PIMS Group are currently recruiting for Longwall Move Fitter positions for the Kestrel Longwall Mine in Emerald.  We are seeking personnel who are highly motivated and have a strong commitment to safety and working in a team environment.

The roles are:

• 4/5, 5/4 Roster (Split Roster)
• Transport to and from site provided
• Accommodation & meals provided while on roster
• Excellent Rates – up to $95/hr
• Opportunity for ongoing work with PIMS after the longwall move project is completed

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Standard 11
• 2 Years relevant underground coal mining experience including previous longwall moves
• Mechanical Trade Papers
• Valid Driver’s licence
• Site Competency Report

Desirable Skills:

• RIIDES301 – 307 Test and Maintain Diesel Engine Systems for UG coal Mines
• Brake Testing Competencies
• High Pressure Hydraulic Experience / Qualifications
• Longwall move equipment experience (Mule, Dozer, 40T & 60T LHD’s, Shield Haulers)
• Longwall production experience
