A mining and construction equipment chief responsible for Oceania has been offered a chance to oversee worldwide operations for a heavy equipment trader.

Former Terex Mining general manager mining and construction equipment for the Asia Pacific Glenn Clarke has accepted a new head of global sales position at Components Only.

The promotion from his previous role as global sales manager came after spending a little over three years in the job in which he helped the business expand internationally.

‘Eminently qualified’

“With our recent growth and expansion into the rapidly developing mining hubs of Chile, Mongolia and other targeted mining regions Glenn’s experience makes him eminently qualified to support our current and future customers, both here and overseas,” accounts director Ben Hailes said in a public statement.

Clarke has more than 25 years’ experience in the resources sector and has spent 40 per cent of that time with Liebherr Australia as their product support and sales manager.
