Coal mine will pay jobseekers up to $84 an hour to start ASAP

An underground coal operation offered prospective employees high hourly rates to urgently begin working in Queensland’s Central Highlands.

Multiple full-time operator, supervisor, tradesperson and project manager vacancies need to be filled immediately at Anglo American’s Aquila Coal Mine, 302km west of Rockhampton.

The following hourly wages will be paid plus penalties, bonuses, superannuation and other incentives:

  • operators ($68.10)
  • trade/supervisors ($77.71)
  • project managers ($84.52 plus company car and fuel card).
