The Abbot Point Expansion Supporters Groups will be holding a rally tomorrow afternoon (Wed 17th Sept) at the Bowen Showgrounds to voice their support of the coal port’s proposed expansion.
The Group is encouraging people in the Bowen region to attend the rally and show their support of a project that will create new jobs for locals and also support development of coal projects in the Galilee Basin, including the recently approved Carmichael coal mine.
The rally starts at 5.30pm at the Bowen Showgrounds and all interested parties are invited to attend.
