One of the world’s largest mining services providers is going on a hiring spree for multiple coal developments across Central Queensland’s Bowen Basin.
Thiess hopes to fill a variety of permanent positions at BHP’s Peak Downs Coal Mine in Winchester, 210km southwest of Mackay and Jellinbah Group’s Lake Vermont Coal Mine in Dysart, 246km southwest of Mackay.
The contractor is looking for:
- multi-skilled operators and excavator operators at Lake Vermont (multiple positions)
- excavator operators at Peak Downs (multiple)
- production operators at an undisclosed open-cut coal mine in the southern Bowen Basin (multiple).
