Resources service providers are looking for multiple long-term employees to work at two different Queensland operations.

Redpath Mining is hiring extra development service crew members to work at South32’s Cannington Silver and Lead Mine in Mckinlay, 312km southeast of Mount Isa.

Jobseekers will be offered either a development or ground support role on a fly-in fly-out roster of eight days on and six days off, working 12 hours each shift.

‘Job security’ and perks

The employer promises “job security”, a competitive hourly rate, paid leave, company provided personal protective equipment, prescription safety glasses reimbursements, discounted private health insurance and salary sacrifice options.

Permanent jobs

Meanwhile, Thiess is recruiting multiple production operators for an open-cut coal project in the southern Bowen Basin.

This is touted to be a permanent position, working either 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating roster of seven days on and seven days off. The employer is also offering company paid bus transfers and salary sacrificed flight options.
