Power Control Engineers (PCE) recently celebrated 20 years of operation.

PCE services a range of clients and industries throughout Australia including coal and metalliferous mining, bulk materials handling, utilities (power and water), energy, construction, manufacturing, defence and local government.

Founded by the late Ken Bode in 2003, PCE services local heavy industry. PCE started out providing electrical power engineering services to the two aluminium smelters in the Hunter Valley – Tomago Aluminium Company and Hydro Aluminium Kurri Kurri.

The company currently has more than 25 employees and almost 300 years of combined electrical engineering experience.

“It is a really exciting time for PCE and our team, celebrating 20 years in business,” PCE managing director Bryce Parker said according to Hunter Headline.

“We have a unique mix of youth and experience, across industry veterans like Mark Second, who has over 40 years of experience, to our recent University of Newcastle graduates, and everyone in between.”

In the lead up to their 20th anniversary management launched a new website and company values.

“The ‘Count on us’ philosophy is an extension of one of our core values – reliability but it is more than that,” Parker said according to the media outlet.

“We listen and seek to understand your pain points and work with you, because together we are stronger.”
