TTI’S TRAILER MOUNT BREAKTHROUGH
Leading Victorian poly tank manufacturer, Trans Tank International, recently built a big run of 1,000 litres all purpose “fire trucks” for one of Australia’s leading hire companies. The machines built on heavy-duty galvanised trailers single axle are equipped to be able to handle a diverse range of construction site tasks.
“They are good for everything from fire prevention along rail lines, or, in National Parks to dust suppression on construction sites”, Aussie Pumps’ Chief Engineer John Hales.
The heart of the system is the Aussie high-pressure Fire Chief pump fitted with Yanmar 4.8 hp air cooled electric start engine. The pump produces super high pressure with the capacity to deliver up to 400 litres of water a minute at 60m head (85 PSI).
Australian Pumps’ Chief Engineer, John Hales commented that the pump’s capacity and high pressure makes it ideal for dust suppression on construction sites with both dribble bar and spray head.
The TTI trailer mounts are fitted with hose reels with 36 metres of high-pressure hose with firefighting nozzle.
