Worker Injured at Jellinbah Coal Mine

A mine worker has been injured in a truck rollover at the Jellinbah coal mine near Bluff in Central Queensland.

The man is believed to have sustained facial fractures in the incident which took place Wednesday afternoon on the Jellinbah haul road.

The RACQ rescue helicopter transported the 64-year-old man to the Rockhampton Base Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.

The man is believed to be the employee of contractor LCR.
