Plant Metallurgist – Dubbo & Central NSW
About the role:
As Plant Metallurgist at Endeavor Operations you will be required to:
- Collect, analyse and record daily metallurgical data; Provide explanations & report on variances in metallurgical performance
- Advise and update operational strategies to be implemented in consultation with mill operations teams and metallurgical staff
- Monitor and optimise control systems in the plant to facilitate consistency of output and provide technical support to process team
- Conduct plant investigations and trials to identify problems and potential areas for improvement
- Apply physical and chemical methods to separate valuable minerals from their ores
- Examine metal processing techniques to make sure that quality is maintained and to improve processing or develop new methods
Skills & experience:
- Degree qualifications in Metallurgy / Mineral Processing;
- 2 year experience in flotation
