Remote jobseekers will have more departure points on the way to a coal operation in Central Queensland’s Galilee Basin.

Several full-time, multi skilled operator vacancies are available at Bravus Mining and Resources’ Carmichael Coal Project – about 160km northwest of Clermont.

Click here to apply. Applicants with experience in dozers, haul trucks, excavators and other machinery will be offered a choice of fly-in fly-out (FIFO) between the mine site and Townsville, Rockhampton and – more recently – Mackay.

“[We] now [accept] FIFO out of Mackay,” MacKellar Group said on the Seek website.

“Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs and we are also offering flights from Mackay. We also encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.”
