Arrow Energy To Hold Community Update Seminars On Bowen Gas Project

Arrow Energy To Hold Community Update Seminars On Bowen Gas Project

A series of community update seminars on Arrow Energy’s proposed Bowen Gas Project and Arrow Bowen Pipeline will be held in various locations throughout Central Queensland in the first week of March.

Arrow entered the Front end engineering design phase on the Bowen Gas Project in December of last year.  The project is expected to create more than 1500 jobs during the construction phase from 2016, and about 700 permanent jobs.

Details on the community update seminars are as follows:

MORANBAH
Monday 2 March
5 – 8pm
Moranbah Community Centre Chapel, Town Square, Moranbah
A project overview presentation will be delivered at 6.30pm.
MIDDLEMOUNT
Wednesday 4 March
5-8pm
Middlemount Community School Hall, James Randell Drive, Middlemount
A project overview presentation will be delivered at 6.30pm.

GRACEMERE
Thursday 5 March 2015
5-8pm
Gracemere Community Centre, Barry Street Hall, Gracemere
A project overview presentation will be delivered at 6.30pm.

Residents of Moranbah who have questions about the projects are also being invited to informal drop in sessions at Arrow’s Community Information Centre in the Town Square.

On Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 March, Arrow’s technical staff will be on site between the hours of 10am and 4pm to answer questions. Formal presentations will be made at 11am, 1pm and 3pm both days.
