An underground coal operation will pay jobseekers high wages to start work immediately in Queensland’s Central Highlands region.
Full-time operators, supervisors, tradespeople and project managers are urgently required at Anglo American’s Aquila Coal Mine, 302km west of Rockhampton.
The following hourly rates will be paid plus penalties, bonuses, superannuation and other incentives:
- operators ($68.10 )
- trade/supervisors ($77.71)
- project managers ($84.52 plus company car and fuel card)

A social club for fishing charters, football trips and other employee-requested outings is also available.
