A mining services company recently secured a tender at a large resources development.

SRG Global recently won the mine site infrastructure contract for Fortescue Metals Group’s Eliwana mine, 340km south of Karratha.

The successful bidder is tasked with spending about nine months constructing a 21km haul road at the existing operation. QMEB can reveal the deal is worth about $55 million.

“We are pleased to extend our longstanding relationship with Fortescue, and look forward to delivering these works for Fortescue in addition to the asset maintenance works we are performing across a number of Fortescue’s site locations,” SRG managing director David Macgeorge said in a public statement.
