Field Service Plant Mechanic: Tom Price FIFO 2/1 (4 POSITIONS AVAILABLE) WesTrac – Port Hedland, Karratha & Pilbara
Job Details:
- x4 positions available
- Reporting to Branch Supervisor
- 14 day shifts on, 7 days off, fly in fly out from Perth
- Tom Price: 10.5 hours per shift inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid meal break
Job Duties:
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing on a range of Caterpillar and Expanded Mining Product Equipment
- Identifying and recommending preventative maintenance on equipment
- Completion of in field diagnosis and repairs
- Completing warranty repair work and reports
- Manage work orders including ordering parts as required
- Carrying out Caterpillar product improvement plans and product support program
- Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment
Essential Criteria:
- Heavy Duty Plant Mechanical Trade Certificate with a minimum of 4 years post trade experience
- Minimum 12 months previous Field Service experience including diagnostic, fault finding and working unsupervised/independently
- Previous experience liaising with customers
- Previous mechanical experience working on Caterpillar products
- Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence
Desirable Criteria:
- Current Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, DTEC (Gravel Roads Training)
- Elevated Work Platform
- Basic Rigging
- Familiarity with service literature
- Drill & Excavator experience
