Aston Advantage’s clients are prepared to fully train fly-in fly-out (FIFO) and drive-in drive-out (DIDO) jobseekers at several mining operations in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
The recruitment agency recently invited applicants for its Driller Offsider JobFit Challenge, which lets prospective employees start making “great money” and receive valuable training to help them succeed in the role.
QMEB previously revealed workers are deployed to “top drilling companies” within a fortnight of completing the induction program.
Click here to apply. A mix of FIFO and DIDO options are available in the Sunshine State. FIFO is also offered between Queensland, NSW, WA and the NT. Shifts are 12 hours a day and rosters are either eight on six off, seven on seven off, three on one off, or two on one off.
Salary bands are as follows:
- driller offsider: $100,000
- trainee driller (after one year): $120,000
- driller level one (after two years) : $140,000
- driller level two (after three years): $160,000
- driller level three (after four years): $180,000.
