Inexperienced jobseekers needed to work in Central Qld

A multinational resources company has begun recruiting beginners who are enthusiastic and motivated to work in the industry.

BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) recently opened applications for its 2023 apprenticeship program. BMA is keen to hear from anyone keen to spend at least four years working at Dysart, Hay Point, Moranbah or the Blackwater Coal Mine in Stewarton, 214km west of Rockhampton.

The following openings are available:

  • automotive electrical (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology)
  • boilermaking (Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade – Boiler Making/Welding)
  • diesel fitting (Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology)
  • electrical (Certificate III in Electro Technology Electrician)
  • mechanical fitting (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)
  • refrigeration mechanic (Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration).
