Resources giant invites inexperienced jobseekers

A multinational mining company is interested in hiring passionate and dedicated people, and no experience is necessary.

Glencore is prepared to pay, fully train and qualify beginners in various professions provided they are willing to stay on for at least four years at Mount Isa Mines – 2km west of the Isa’s CBD.

The following vacancies have been advertised:

  • radio technician
  • fitter machinist
  • auto electrical
  • diesel fitting
  • refrigeration
  • boilermaker
  • mechanic
  • electrical.

“Positions will be offered at our Mount Isa Mines operations based residentially in Mount Isa for commencement in late January 2023,” the Glencore careers website said.
