Accelerated construction process
If your project requires the construction of architecturally designed in-situ buildings our Accelerated Construction process can save you time and money, using a hybrid of offsite component fabrication and parallel onsite works to limit site construction time, ensuring reduced cost, risk and impact of the building works on your organisation and surrounding community, while guaranteeing product quality. All our buildings are BCA compliant, including Section J, and are designed to minimise environmental impact including high energy efficiency and minimal construction waste.
We will manage all aspects of your project from architectural design to construction and completion of surrounding site works and landscaping.

Project: Design & Construction of a 200 person Temporary Accommodation Village in Blayney NSW to be used by contractors engaged in the construction of the Cadia East Underground Project.
Client: Cadia Holdings Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Newcrest Mining Ltd
Description: Eastern Nomad was engaged as Principal Contractor on behalf of Cadia Holdings to manage all aspects of the design and construction of a 200 person temporary accommodation village in Blayney including:
- Design development including all development applications and approvals;
- Management of extensive civil construction works and associated services infrastructure including power, gas, sewer, stormwater and communications;
- Fabrication, delivery and installation of 50 accommodation buildings, a kitchen / dining building, office, recreation and toilet buildings.
The Eastern Nomad Difference: The Eastern Nomad Accelerated Construction Process allowed the project to be fast-tracked with the project complete only four months from design.
Immediately following initial design and completion of statutory approvals, site works in Blayney were undertaken concurrently with the fabrication of the building units off-site in Eastern Nomad’s Sydney manufacturing facility.
This generated significant time and cost savings for the client when compared with traditional in-situ construction methods.

Building management services
Our Building Maintenance Team will take care of the buildings throughout your contract including:.
Complimentary Initial Briefing – we provide a complete portable building recommendation to suit your project including site inspection and utilisation, building design layout and costing.
Building delivery and installation – we will deliver on time and arrange installation, service connections and internal fit-out to prepare the building for occupation.
Building Relocation – if a portable or modular building needs to be moved to a new location, either within the existing site or elsewhere, we can arrange the building transportation and relocation. We will review the site and determine the optimum use of space and ideal location if necessary. We can also prepare the new site and restore the old site if required.
Building refurbishment and upgrade – one of the advantages of modular buildings is that they can be completely refurbished and upgraded to near new standard. Our Building Management Team can transform and rejuvenate the building interior and exterior, including paint, flooring, window coverings, stairways, balconies and many other requirements you may have.
Maintenance – if your buildings are rented from us, we can incorporate a regular maintenance plan into your contract to reduce the need for you to manage the maintenance.
Field Service – when buildings are rented, we will provide same day service (where possible but within 24 hours) to repair or replace any faulty product or building defect. We will also follow up after delivery to ensure your expectations have been met. Any outstanding issue will be resolved immediately.
