An underground mining specialist is looking for new staff after winning a tender for a metal operation in northwest Queensland.
Pybar Mining Services recently began a recruitment drive to prepare for new development work at FMR Investments’ Eloise Underground Copper Mine in Mckinlay, 194km east of Mount Isa.
The successful contractor is now hiring for the following full-time vacancies:
- service crew (multiple positions)
- underground charge up personnel (multiple).
Successful applicants will be offered a secure roster of 14 days on 14 days off, fly-in fly-out and drive-in drive-out options from multiple Queensland locations, and “generous” loyalty and employee recognition programs.
There will also be staff discounts on flights, groceries, travel packages, insurance, gym membership, entertainment and more at over 300 retailers.
“We will be working with FMR investments to execute a mining contract … and progress to site mobilisation four weeks post contract execution,” Pybar chief executive Brendan Rouse said in a public statement.
“Well done team!”
