Qld coal mine offers up to $13K bonus for immediate start

Jobseekers could be paid up to $13,000 if they urgently begin working for a coal operation in Queensland’s Bowen Basin region.

Full-time multi-skilled, truck and excavator operator vacancies need to be filled immediately at QCoal’s Northern Hub Coal Mine – about 90km southwest of Bowen.

Prospective employees will be offered a $5000 sign-on bonus after six months of continuous service, plus a further $8000 after another six months. Permanent shirts will be provided from commencement without temporary, labour hire contracts.

An extra $5000 bonus is available if they refer a friend and he or she also secures work for the same business. Referred friends must pass the six-month probation period before the referrer receives the $5000 bonus.

Click here to apply. Successful applicants will be paid up to $4727 a fortnight plus superannuation and required to work 12-hour shifts on an even time roster of seven on seven off.

Accommodation, meals, living out of camp allowance ($130 per week), salary continuance insurance, discounted Medibank private health insurance, salary sacrificed flights and other employee benefits are available. Buses to the camp accommodation are provided from Townsville. There is also potential to up skill. Other terms and conditions apply.
