A multinational mining company promises an unrivalled employment environment in Queensland’s Gulf Country region.
Glencore recently offered what it claimed to be unbeatable work conditions at Mount Isa Mines, 3km northwest of downtown Mount Isa.
The employer advertised full-time mine assistant and multiple jumbo operator roles. Suitable jobseekers were promised an “attractive” day and night shift roster of seven on seven off. Employee benefits, training and recognition programs were also available.
“While the decision to move can often be motivated by a career path people choose to stay in Mount Isa, Queensland for the lifestyle. It is a friendly community and the short commute to work everyday contributes to a lifestyle that is hard to beat,” the company said on the Seek website.
