Multi-Skilled Plant Operators / Polywelders
Multiple Positions Available
Mine Support Services is a family owned, specialist mining contractor and are currently seeking plant operator/s labourers and supervisors for operations in Moranbah, QLD. As you will be working with small crews on a variety of job fronts, you must have a flexible approach to your role and be able to efficiently and safely operate in a variety of circumstances.
To be considered for an interview, Candidates must be able to provide the following documents:
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Induction
- Drivers Licence (a minimum of HR)
- RIIVEH201D – Operate Light Vehicle
- RII (or civil qualification) for HR, Front End Loader, Excavator
- Current RII Competencies for any (not all) of the following:
- Float
- Grader
- Dozer
- Vacuum Truck
- Skid Steer
- Water Truck
- Backhoe
- Tipper / Body Truck
- Side Tipper / Road Train
- Dogging
- Basic Rigging
- Prepare and apply chemicals / Control weeds / Handle chemicals
The positions are DIDO from Moranbah and surrounds or FIFO from Brisbane. (Camp accommodation in Moranbah).
The successful candidate must have an absolute focus on safety and be a team player. Mine Support Services are looking for skilled operators with a “can-do” attitude who are looking for long term employment in a family owned and operated business. You do not have to have all the skills listed above – if you are proficient in some areas and need upskilling in others, we are willing to provide training to the right candidates.
