Mining contractor goes on a hiring spree

An Indigenous Australian-owned resources service provider is looking for multiple mine workers who want to start over.

Blackrock Industries is inviting job applications for several labourer and operator vacancies at multiple upcoming mining projects.

Applicants need to have some experience in mine site operation, civil, construction, land management and both plant and equipment operation to be considered for a role.

‘Fresh start’

“Due to upcoming project work we seek expressions of interest from local people looking for a fresh start into the industry,” the company said on Facebook.

“Our work includes land management services, civil and general construction labour support, plant and equipment supply/operation for all industries and mining, encompassing all the above services on and off lease.”

One or more of the following equipment expertise will be required:

  • backhoe
  • water cart
  • dozer (D6-D10)
  • grader 14H/16H
  • roller/compactor
  • articulated tyre loader
  • skid steer/track loader
  • articulated dump truck
  • fuel and service truck/cart
  • excavator (5 tonnes through to 40 tonne).
