ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We currently have fulltime opportunities for experienced Underground Electricians to join the JTMEC team at a mine site based in North Queensland. This role will be DIDO from Cairns (bus provided), working 12 hour shifts on days and nights plus call outs and working on a two weeks on and two weeks off roster. Duties will include but are not limited to:
servicing, maintenance, fault finding and statutory testing of underground electrical equipment (including drill rigs, pumps, fans etc);
diagnosing and repair of a diverse range of electrical equipment (including gen sets);
cable runs (HV and LV) and installations (construction, instrumentation, HV etc); and
project work.
